SURPRISES

Surprised by my 4yr old niece lovely talent

Surprise – a sudden twisting situation  similar to the key of  a electric circuit which can change the  direction  of mood . It can act in  both ways--" either turn on or turn off  the mood".
Today I am talking about series of surprises we  received  this year. Since these surprises have only turned on my mood , that’s why I am dedicating my this post to the  lovely surprises of this year.
Recently I visited Mount Mary Church Bandra to  pay  my gratitude to lord Jesus who blessed me  with bundle of surprises  this year. These  surprises came  in series one after another. in other words one surprise gave rise to another surprise.

surprising visit to Mount Marry Church Bandra

On  our last our working day before Christmas vacation. While we were  busy  for the event  which was hosted by our school to encourage  our young  sports champions , our students were surprising us by showing the number of medals our house won. I was happy to see  my  house students  who  were very talented  and  have set amazing  record on international levels at various  events and had great  future in  sports. while the young champions were busy with their trophies, we were discussing about our experience when  we also were surprised by amazing gifts just a day before during Christmas celebration.
On our second last  working day before Christmas vacations , our young teachers involved us in  a game . The game was Secret Santa A week prior to that  event our young teachers  suggested  us to play it. I never played this game in my life. But since it was the idea of young minds I knew that it will be very thrilling. Most of us agreed to play this game.
In this game we write the name of all the participants on  different  chits of paper and  fold all those chits  in such a way that  no one can see the names. The chits are thrown in a bowl and randomly everybody  picks up one chit. Which ever name  one receives in her chit, she will be her Secret Santa and  the task is to  give a gift secretly to that person without disclosing your identity. I opened my chit and was happy to see that I was Secret Santa of a very easy going  fellow teacher. It was very easy to select gift for her.

With my friend Suman we wandered the Borivali west side  market, purchased the gift and got it wrapped and  next day successfully  placed it secretly on the respective teachers tables. After the school we all gathered and opened our gifts and  than guessed  our Santas names.

My gift was  a delightful treat  from  my junior teacher  Divya.

My gift an amazing surprise!!
I must say here that the biggest surprise of the year were our juniors. They successfully filled the emptiness of our staff room left by our fellow teachers who got transferred to other cities.
